Creative and Logical Thinking

by Elizabeth
(Wisconsin)

Art projects are great, but I've also found that kids want to use their creativity in other ways: Creative writing activities, problem solving, logic puzzles. A box of objects (a matchbox, empty OTC pill bottle, paperclip, roll of tape, junk cd, paper towel or tp roll, etc.) that you can ask for other ways to use them. A big word (Seasonal words or short phrases are great) to find other words you can make with those letters: Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, Columbus Day, etc.

My Comments: Thanks for those great suggestions Elizabeth!
