It teaches kids to be clever in solving problems. Kids want to hear the stories over and over again. I love reading them to my 5 year old, and my 8 and 10 year old usually crowd around us to listen in.
The illustrations are beautifully executed in watercolor. Some of the characters appear in multiple stories and we get attached to them. These stories are the perfect length to read at bedtime. Most are two to three pages long.
This book was recommended by "Sonlight" and is a keeper!
