Teaching Textbooks

I just switched one of my sons, who is ready to go into pre-algebra, from another curriculum, to Teaching Textbooks.

We have only been using it a week, and am really liking it, and so is my son! He started the pre-algebra. The textbook is consumable, but the answers can be written in another notebook. There is a DVD instuctional video, and a solutions DVD for step-by-step solutions for each practice "problem sets", for the equations for each lesson, as well as for each test equation.

I have been through pre-algebra and algebra with 3 other children, and was not looking forward to it again. I didn't always understand how to get the solutions, and this was very frustrating! It took so much of my time! Having step-by-step solutions is a HUGE relief for me.

I am very thankful to have found Teaching textbooks!
