Teaching Textbooks for Math

by Amiee

My daughters HATE Math! We tried many different programs, but when we heard about Teaching Textbooks, we thought we would give it a try.

While my daughters still hate Math, they hate it a little less with
Teaching Textbooks
. They really enjoy being able to do their work on the computer, and in the younger grades, it even grades it for them. I wish it did that with the older grades. That is the one thing that could be improved upon.

My older daughter wishes that she could do all of her Math work on the computer like her younger sisters. It is very disappointing that they don't do that for the older grades.

We really like the straight forward way that Teaching Textbooks explains things to the kids. They include fun little games to help the children learn, and offer hints along the way to help them if they need it.

I have recommended Teaching Textbooks to my friends, and many of them now use it, and feel the same way about it that I do. Though it is costly, it can be re-used for other children. To me, it is well worth the money.

I have always found Math to be the most difficult subject to teach, and it really makes my job a lot easier! Currently, we are using
Teaching Textbooks
Algebra 1, Math 6, and Math 3.
