Knowing your child's learning style can help you save yourself and your child hours, weeks, and even years of frustration.

Learning style is basically just what the name states - the way that you learn best. In my homeschool experience I have found this information to be very valuable for each child. Knowing my child's learning style helps me:

Choose their books

Know the environment they need to learn

Organize their day

Know what I can expect of them when

Understand how they look at the world

Understand how they think and what is important (and not important)to them

You can get learning style assessments that give you more than the generic visual, auditory, kinesthetic learner style. You can discover how they prefer to interact with others, whether they would rather create, perform, etc. My children learned more about each other than I ever expected them to learn. I think it helped them accept each other's unique personality more.
