Last spring, when I usually begin thinking & praying for the next year & all it will entail for my beloved children, I must say how I did very little. To search a little is a pleasure, so a few months later (closer to summer), while in the Good-Will store I stumbled across a great treasure for me!
I was thrilled when I found the Teachers Manuel for MFW: Countries and Cultures! This I credit to the power of prayer, especially since it was perfect for the ages of mine who are school aged! So I gave God the glory!
Still more heartfelt prayers as the summer began, I did not expect my prayers to be answered so easily. While visiting my mother with my children, I stumbled acrossed a garage sale. This was mainly to pass time while doing as I wished for a little bit: rummaging through another's stuff :0)
Here I found a whole box of dirt cheap home school books and such (a large laminated USA map). Along with several resorces of publishers which I already liked and had used before, I found another treasure geared directly for the style of learning of my kinesthetic learner which was Saxon math books and yes, the very thick Teacher's Manual too!
I am convinced that through taking time (along with some patience), as well as thinking ahead of time that God knows better than me what the year ahead can hold for each member of my homeschooled family!
