Alphaphonics

by Wendy
(Georgia)

I recommend this book for beginner readers. My 5 year old is quickly learning to sound out words after starting this program. My older child, age 7 and just removed from school, was learning to "sight read" and couldn't use phonics to read until we started this program.

We own two copies to keep the kids from fighting over whose turn it is to hold the book. It is simple to use and well written. The instructions are in the back of the book for the teacher/parent and the rest of the book is for the child to use and review. You can buy this new on his website (www.alphaphonics.com) or used from Amazon for a lot less.

My comments: Thanks so much for sharing this review. We used this book some when my daughters were younger too.
