AGS books

by shelly
(India)

My daughter was diagnosed as special ed just as she started high school. We switched from CLE to AGS books and it made a tremendous difference. Our previous children all used CLE without any problems, but our last daughter found it very challenging.

AGS remediated the material to her reading level hence there was much less frustration. I highly recommend these books to anyone who has a special ed teen.

My Response: That's great that you found something for high school special needs. I've never heard of AGS before. I'm sure there are lots of elementary resources but not as much for high school. My husband is a special needs high school teacher.

AGS stands for American Guidance Service. Here are some AGS books that I found. AGS Math, AGS Grammar & Composition Skills Worktext , and AGS Exploring Literature Student Workbook.
