A good tip for Low Budgets

by Sara Wakeley
(Elbasan, Albania)

Scour 'Goodwill' and such charity and second-hand shops for books. That's how we've found some of our most beloved books!

Another advantage to buying 2nd hand is you won't be so likely to blow a fuse if you're cute toddler shreds instead of reads the book!

My Comments: Good tip. I shop Goodwill regularly and have found all kinds of interesting homeschool books and materials.

I also like the fact that if you don't end up using the book (or it gets destroyed) you aren't as stressed about it because you didn't invest much in it.
